SALT PROCESSING PLANT

The first step in the salt processing plant is the crushing stage which is designed to bring salt types down to the appropriate size. This process is carried out using a machine known as a crusher and can be applied to materials that are sized between 2000 mm to 5 mm. Crushers are mechanical appliances that use various forces such as pressure, impact and shear force to reduce materials into smaller dimensions. These forces could be in the form of impact, compression, crushing, shear and friction forces. Crushers can be put to use in many different ways and are characterized by different types depending on the area of application. For optimum performance when processing salt, the Salt Processing Line always recommends making use of a jaw crusher which is specially designed to avoid any form of harm to these materials

SALT PROCESSING PLANT

The topic at hand is the salt processing plant, which can be executed through two different approaches depending on the intended purpose. These methods are known as wet and dry milling, with each process being distinct in its own way. Let’s delve into wet milling first, shall we? Essentially, this method involves saturating a saline solution and passing raw salt through it. By doing so, impurities in the salt are identified and the product size is reduced. Gravity pulls the salt slurry into a tank where it is then sent to be washed. On the other hand, dry milling is another milling method that is slightly different from the wet variety. In this approach, an elevator sends the salt to the dry mill where it is resized into smaller pieces. From there, the product is then sent back to a screening machine for further processing. So whether it’s wet or dry milling, there are different steps that have to be taken to achieve a well-refined final product.

Jaw crushers

Jaw crushers are incredibly useful machines that are designed to help break down all kinds of materials, regardless of their level of hardness or corrosivity. These crushers can be used as either primer crushers or seconder crushers, depending on the situation and what is needed for the job. It’s important to note that primer jaw crushers are generally considered to be the superior choice, as they are known for their exceptional performance and productivity. Plus, they can often be used as seconder crushers as well, making them an even more versatile option for those in need of heavy machinery. So if you’re looking for a reliable and powerful crusher that can help you get the job done right, a jaw crusher may be just what you’ve been searching for!
